Once a claim is reported, you will receive an acknowledgement by email with the claim number and the name and contact information for the claim adjuster. Absolutely. All claims should be reported, no matter how minor they may appear. Claims can be reported as notice only. Once an adjuster is assigned, they will determine if additional investigation will be needed. Reporting your claim is the best way to be proactive and to protect the best interests of your business. Not reporting your claim as soon as practicable could jeopardize your coverage.
